Information Collection and Use

InsightXM is the sole owner of the information collected on our corporate web site. InsightXM may collect information at several different points on our website. Information collected through our corporate website, such as name, address, and phone number, is only collected for purposes of engaging in a sales dialog per a prospect’s request. Information collected via the InsightXM application is collected on behalf of InsightXM and our customers for the purposes of data analytics and insights.

Certain parts of the InsightXM application allow communication with direct users. Users have the option to participate in this activity for the purpose of contacting by email. A user must provide user’s login information, user’s email address, user’s employer/business/organization name, and user’s business contact information.

The reason we use this information is to allow the application to contact users by email and to record user application interaction for the purpose of audit trail.

Tracking Technologies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-­‐keeping purposes. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site. The cookies listed below are used internally for session management and high availability. InsightXM uses website data to create a profile of our users. A profile is stored information that we keep on individuals and includes their demographic information and preferences. Information Related to Data Collected through the InsightXM Application

InsightXM collects information provided by its Clients, and generally has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. InsightXM also may collect additional information about individuals that is publicly available or may be purchased from third party data providers. If you are a customer of one of our Clients and would no longer like to be contacted by one of our Clients that use our service, please contact the client that you interact with directly. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his or her query to the InsightXM Client. If the Client requests us to remove the data, we will respond to their request within 30 business days. We may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the provisions in this Policy regarding notice and choice and the service agreements with our Clients. We will retain personal data we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed to provide services to our Client. We will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. 


Our website may offer publicly accessible blogs or community forums. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas might be read, collected and used by others who access them. Correcting, Updating, Deleting, Deactivating Personal Information

If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (i.e., zip code, phone, email or postal address), they can correct it by logging into their account or by contacting us via the information in the Contact section. If a Client wishes to no longer subscribe to our service, they can notify us via the information in the Contact section. We will retain Client information for as long as the Client account is active or as needed to provide services. We will retain and use Client information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. 

Changes to the Privacy Statement

The information you submit to us is controlled by the privacy policy in effect at the time you submit it. If we significantly change our policy, we will post a notice in a conspicuous place on our website notifying visitors of policy changes. If we make any material changes, we will also post a notice on our website prior to the change becoming effective.
